::| THE NEXT LEGENDS AFRICA |::

The Next Legends Africa is a unique talent hunts initiative that transverse the entire African Continent. Covering 14 major African Cities in Four (4) Countries namely; South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya.

The Talent Hunt is opened to young people between the ages of 16 – 27 years old, residing in Africa and in diasporas.

This initiative is to discover raw music talents across the continent that will be Legends of the 21st Century and use music as a tool to shape and change the world.

Winner and finalists for the Next Legends Africa will emerge through auditions which will be conducted in 14 venues in 4 African Countries.

The Winner prize for the Next Legends Africa is $100,000.00 while consolations prizes are available for Finalists and top 10.

::| ROAD SHOWS & AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS |::

Next Legends Africa will be ideal platform for companies in Africa to showcase their Products and Services to the world; Auditions for the Next Legends Africa will be preceded by the Campus Road shows and the Next Legends Africa International launch and Press Conference.

::| NEXT LEGENDS AFRICA LAUNCH AND PRESS CONFERENCE |::

Next Legends Africa launch and Press Conference will be hosted in Lagos, Nigeria
While Johannesburg hosts the finals of the Next legends Africa, Lagos will be hosting the Launch and International Press Conference in November, 2008.Proposed venue is the MUSON Centre in Lagos. The Judges for the auditions of the Next Legends Africa will be unveiled at the launch and Press Conference.

::| DURATION OF NEXT LEGENDS AFRICA |::

The Next Legends Africa will kick off in January, 2009. Auditions will conducted within 8 weeks, during this period, auditions will be held for contestants in each of the 14 venues, Winners in each country then move to Johannesburg for the final phase where selection processes for the winner emerges, this will last for 2 weeks. In total, Next Legends Africa will take 10 weeks.

::| NEXT LEGENDS AFRICA CAMPUS ROAD SHOWS |::

The Next Legends Africa Campus Road Shows will transverse over 20 Universities campuses in Africa; this is an awareness and promotional campaigns for students in tertiary institutions of learning. Promotional materials, handbills, posters and T-Shirts will be distributed to students. These will be further complemented by entertainment and music.

The Following universities will be hosting the Road shows across Africa:

Nigeria: Lagos State University (LASU), University of Lagos (UNILAG), Lagos State Poly (LASPOTECH),University of Benin (UNIBEN), University of Abuja (ABUJA), University of Jos (UNIJOS) ,University of Porthacourt (UNIPORT),University of Ibadan (UI).

South Africa: University of South Africa (UNISA), University of Pretoria (UP), University of Cape town (UCPT), Durban Institute of Technology (DIT), University of Kwazulu natal
University of Johannesburg, University of Limpopo, and University of Stellenbosch

Ghana: University of Ghana, Leg horn, Accra

Kenya: University of Nairobi

Bostwana: University of Botswana.
